Mike Downey writes of how terrible it was to learn that the Cinderella team of the Super Bowl, the Patriots, had players with a drug problem which probably affected their game. How much worse it would have been if the Patriots had won the game and then we find out that players’ performances may have been enhanced through drugs!
The NFL and other sports had better get tough or that story will surely run someday.
