San Juan Capistrano : School Official Takes Ontario-Montclair Post

George A. Dibs, assistant superintendent for instructional operations for the last 4 1/2 years in the Capistrano Unified School District, has been named superintendent of the Ontario-Montclair Elementary School District in San Bernardino County. He will assume the job March 1.

Dibs, 56, and his wife, Mary, who is a counselor in the Santa Ana Unified School District, live in Westminster but will move to San Bernardino County when he takes over his new position.

A native of New York City, Dibs grew up in Norwalk and received his doctorate degree from USC. Before coming to Capistrano Unified, he held administrative positions in the Rowland Unified School Disrict and Paramount Unified in Los Angeles County.
