Luckett Leads Idaho Past USIU, 113-91
MOSCOW, Idaho — Sophomore forward Ken Luckett scored 27 points to lead the University of Idaho to a 113-91 nonconference basketball victory over United States International University Tuesday night.
The teams were tied at 12-12 early in the first half when Idaho, spurred by four consecutive lay-ins by Luckett, put on a 15-point spurt to take a 27-14 lead.
Idaho took a 62-41 halftime lead.
Idaho junior center Tom Stalick scored 26 points and pulled down a game-high 17 rebounds.
Junior guard Joe Yezbak scored a game-high 29 points to lead the Gulls.
Idaho, from the Big Sky Conference, improved its record to 9-14 overall and remains 2-7 in conference play. USIU is 7-15.
