Hotel Guest Just Asks--and Receives

At least one guest at Santa Ana’s new Hotel Terrace complex says he has found more than the expected creature comforts at his hotel.

In addition to his complimentary breakfasts, David Boots found a job.

The Phoenix resident and his wife had checked into Woolley’s Petite Suites, one of the development’s four all-suites hotels, using it as a base while Boots went job-hunting last week.

He didn’t have to go far.

Boots, who had been a hotel maintenance manager in Phoenix, noticed the Quality Suites hotel under construction next door to his hotel. He walked into the construction trailer on the site and walked out with a job as Quality’s maintenance manager.

“It’s really something,” he said. “All I did was ask.”
