Most Favorites Advance in State Wrestling Meet
SAN JOSE — Friday’s preliminary rounds of the State high school wrestling championships produced few surprises as most of the favorites advanced to today’s semifinals.
Winners included defending State champions Laurence Jackson of Santa Monica at 136 pounds and Robert Tabarez of Calexico at 123 pounds.
