Police Identify Strangled Woman As a Prostitute
A woman whose nude body was found in a rural area of Orange during the weekend was identified Monday as Cindy M. Tilman, a prostitute from central Santa Ana, police said.
City of Orange detectives are seeking information from anyone who may have seen Tilman, 28, whose husband told police that she normally worked on 1st Street between Bristol Street and Harbor Boulevard. The two were living in an abandoned car in Santa Ana, police said.
Tilman’s body was spotted by a passing motorist about 6:30 a.m. Saturday. An autopsy showed that she had been strangled several hours earlier.
