Kram, Meza Named Sea View Soccer MVPs
Drew Kram of Corona del Mar High School and Marcos Meza of Saddleback were named the Sea View League’s co-Most Valuable Players in a vote of the league’s soccer coaches. Newport Harbor led the selections with four players on the first team.
The coaches’ teams:
First Team--Al Contrera (University), Tim Galusha (Corona del Mar), Pat Merrell (Corona del Mar), Carlos Zalava (Saddleback), Kevin Wolfe (Newport Harbor), John Gediman (Newport Harbor), Neal Payne (Newport Harbor), Garth Tamblyn (Newport Harbor), Alex Baldesteros (Saddleback), Brandon Cope (Laguna Beach), Yasushi Noda (Woodbridge) and Erin Wright (Estancia).
Second Team--Greg Chavez (Saddleback), Ricardo Fuentes (Saddleback), Sean Lovelace (Newport Harbor), Grey Fishbien (Woodbridge), Joe Max-Moore (Woodbridge), John Corrigan (Estancia), Eric Kirsch (Estancia), Russell Griffiths (Estancia), Robert Hesse (Corona del Mar), Mike Hilgemen (University), Casey Long (University), John Oakson (University) and Dave Bahou (University).
