USD Crew Wins 4 of 6 Heats From Long Beach

The University of San Diego’s rowing crews won four of six heats in their dual meet with Cal State Long Beach Sunday at Marine Stadium in Long Beach.

In the day’s closest race, the USD men’s varsity crew maintained a slim lead from start to finish, beating the 49ers by 8/10 of a second. USD also won the men’s freshman competition and both women’s novice heats. Long Beach won the women’s varsity and men’s junior varsity competitions.
