Culver City Man Joins Refugee Council
Gus Prado, former president of the Culver City Chamber of Commerce, has been appointed by Gov. George Deukmejian to serve on the state Advisory Council on Refugee Assistance and Services. The council assists the Department of Social Services with refugee resettlement. Prado is a member of the Culver City Lions Club and a former president of Club 25 of Los Angeles, a Cuban-American club.
