Striking Transit Drivers Block Philadelphia Depots

PHILADELPHIA — Striking suburban bus and trolley drivers blocked four Philadelphia depots for more than three hours Thursday, temporarily stranding about 100,000 rush-hour commuters. It was the first time the strike by 270 suburban transit drivers spilled into the city.
