Laguna Beach Beats Corona del Mar, 11-9
Laguna Beach High School scored six runs in the bottom of the fifth inning Thursday and defeated Corona del Mar, 11-9, in a Sea View League baseball game at Laguna Beach.
Tommy Trager was 3 for 4 with three RBIs to lead the Artists (4-4, 7-6). Danny Lane (1-0) pitched three innings in relief to earn the win. At the plate, Lane was also 2 for 3 with a triple and two RBIs. Coby Naess hit a home run in the top of the second to give Laguna Beach an early 1-0 lead.
