The California Republican League, a small group of moderate activists, overwhelmingly endorsed Rep. Ed Zschau of Los Altos in the Republican U. S. Senate primary. The organization, which held its convention in Los Angeles, also endorsed Mike Curb in the Republican race for lieutenant governor and Dan Stanford for controller.
