Jilted Teen-Age Girl Reaches Out 377 Times to Boyfriend
HARVEY, La. — A teen-age girl, apparently upset over a breakup with her boyfriend, let her fingers do the talking--and was arrested on 377 counts of telephone harassment.
A sheriff’s spokeswoman Thursday said that Michelle Alexie, 18, called her former boyfriend at work 377 times, hanging up and re-dialing immediately each time after the phone was answered.
Alexie, who is free on bond, reportedly averaged 13 calls a minute. The former boyfriend could not take the phone off the hook because he needed the line open for the business, the spokeswoman said.
