Calculated Risk by U.S.
I would like to applaud the Reagan Administration for its military action in Libya.
It is about time that the United States stood up in the world and fought back.
I am sick and tired of hearing about small Third World nothing countries stepping all over the United States. People like Moammar Kadafi and his terrorists must be punished.
To all the whiners who oppose this gallant act, we tried to isolate Libya diplomatically a few years ago with no effect. Terrorism still escalated throughout Europe. Just recently after the ruthless airport attacks we tried economic sanctions, which also had no effect, largely due to our so-called allies’ lack of support. We did not want to use military force, but what were we to do?
