Invading Elephants Attack Three Farmers

JAKARTA, Indonesia — An elephant lifted up an electric wire fence with its trunk to let a herd of 30 other elephants into a plantation, where they attacked three farmers and gorged themselves on a crop of young palm oil trees, the official Antara news agency reported.
