Bad News: Haze to Continue; Good News: It’ll Be Warmer
The forecast for Orange County’s weekend could certainly be better, especially for beach aficionados. But it could also be worse.
The National Weather Service said Friday that the general haziness and low morning clouds of the past couple of days should prevail over the weekend but that temperatures should be slightly warmer.
The NWS said the low morning clouds and general overcast will keep the sun from shining until the early afternoon both today and Sunday. Temperatures should warm to the high 70s today and about 80 on Sunday. Morning lows should be about 60.
The haze, however, will continue for most of the weekend.
The high temperature in Orange County on Friday was Santa Ana’s 75 after a morning low of 61. At Newport Beach, the high temperature reached 66 with a morning low of 60.
