Matuszak, Accused of Beating Up a Male Stripper, Wins Case
An Alameda County Superior Court jury found in favor of former Raider John Matuszak Friday in a $1.5-million lawsuit that had accused the retired defensive end of beating up a male stripper.
The jury deliberated about 9 1/2 hours over three days before returning the verdict.
The lawsuit alleged that Matuszak had crashed a Ladies’ Night show at a Castro Valley night club called the Picadilly Pub six years ago, threw male stripper Daniel Fisher over some tables and roughed up master of ceremonies Daniel Zezzo.
