Louise Sorel, the conniving Augusta Lockridge on NBC’s “Santa Barbara,” bid au revoir Friday and now heads for NYC and ABC’s “One Life to Live.” Augusta will be seen on tape for two more weeks and commences a “vacation,” with the possibility that she’ll return.
The actress said she’s been “frustrated creatively” and “in a corner” on “Santa Barbara.” Her two-year “Life” stint begins Aug. 5 as a high-powered, ultra-glamorously wardrobed attorney in a triangle with a nasty husband and a handsome, 24-year-old ex-con.
