Why didn’t KCET give more ballyhoo (and a better time slot than 12:30 a.m. weeknights) to the brilliant British comedy series, “The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin”? When the show first ran several years ago, I thought it was the most audacious, clever and courageous sitcom ever produced. Now, after slogging through dozens of moronic “comedies” in the interim, I’m convinced more than ever what a special show “Reginald Perrin” really was.
