Vending Ordinance on Tap: A new vending ordinance, long in the works, will come up for adoption Tuesday. Restrictions on street vendors would include banning the use of music, horns or sounds to attract customers. The issue has been controversial in the Latino neighborhoods of Anaheim. Many people say the street vendors serve a needed function; others say they create traffic congestion, litter and noise. The City Council will consider the ordinance during its morning meeting at the Anaheim Civic Center, 200 S. Anaheim Blvd.
