N. Hollywood Man, 84, Dies After Hit-and-Run
An 84-year-old North Hollywood man who was struck by a hit-and-run driver died early Sunday.
The man was crossing the street at Victory Boulevard and Satsuma Avenue at 9:20 p.m. Saturday when he was struck by the car, authorities said. The driver did not stop, Los Angeles Police Sgt. George Ulrich said.
The victim, whose identity was withheld, was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, where he died shortly after 1 a.m.
Investigators do not have a description of the car or driver, Ulrich said.
