A federal judge has ruled that a mass naturalization ceremony in St. Louis will not be part of the nationally televised Liberty Weekend extravaganza, making St. Louis the third city to pull out of the Statue of Liberty festivities. U.S. District Judge John Nangle said that he was afraid the producers of the ABC television program would make a spectacle of the ceremony for new citizens. The other two cities to withdraw are Washington and Los Angeles.
