Mayweather by a TKO
Former World Boxing Council champion Roger Mayweather, punishing his foe from the opening bell, scored a technical knockout over Oscar Bejines after seven rounds of their scheduled 10-round lightweight fight Thursday night at the Olympic Auditorium.
Mayweather, from Las Vegas, weighed 134 3/4 pounds and is 24-4 with 15 knockouts. Bejines, from Guadalajara, weighed 134 and is 23-4-2.
