In Los Angeles Superior Court proceedings, Irv Levin, who sold the Clippers to Donald T. Sterling in 1981, has offered to reacquire the team in response to a lawsuit Sterling filed in December 1982.
Sterling’s suit alleged several abuses, including fraud, negligence, breach of contract and misrepresentation. Sterling’s suit asks that the sale be rescinded.
In papers filed Wednesday, Levin offered to reacquire the team. The suit is scheduled to go to trial in September.
