Golfer Don January plans to leave the PGA senior tour until he improves his game, even though he won a $200,000 tournament Sunday at White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.
“It’s pleasing to know that although I’m not playing well, it’s still good enough to win,” the 56-year-old January said. “Now, I’m going home for about a month and work on my game. And I’m not coming back out on the tour until I feel I’m ready.”
