New President of Art Council
Linda Brown is the new president of the UCLA Art Council, which supports the visual arts at UCLA and provides volunteer and financial assistance for the Wight Art Gallery, the UCLA Museum of Cultural History, the university’s art and design department, the art library and the Franklin D. Murphy Sculpture Garden. The council funds scholarships and endows a professorial chair at UCLA, as well as presenting public lectures and exhibitions.
