THE END, FOR REAL
I agree with Sylvester Stallone’s idea of making a movie starring both the American Rambo and the Soviets’ version (Outtakes, Aug. 3).
However, I believe that Sly would do more for American-Soviet relations if the movie were shot with only one ending, rather than filming two where each side respectively wins.
This ending would more realistically portray what would occur if the U.S. and U.S.S.R., as represented by the “heroes” of the film, ever went to war.
In it, both sides would lose.
