Bus, Car Collide; Motorist Hurt
A Greyhound bus collided with an automobile near the transit company’s downtown Los Angeles depot early today, injuring the motorist, who had to be cut out of the car’s wreckage, authorities reported. None of the 33 bus passengers were injured. Arnoldo Viscara was reported in serious condition at the County-USC Medical Center from multiple facial cuts, head injuries and a broken collarbone. Two engine companies and two Fire Department ambulances responded to the 6:24 a.m. accident at 5th and Los Angeles streets.
