Owe duty on your souvenirs? Just charge it.
The U.S. Customs Service said airline passengers may use the Sears Discover card to charge duties and taxes on personal items brought into the United States starting Nov. 1 at all major U.S. international airports. This is the first credit card to be accepted by the service. In making the announcement, U.S. Customs Service Commissioner William von Raab said: “Our agreement to accept the Discover card reflects our commitment to seeking new ways to provide the highest level of service to travelers to the U.S.”
