Be Fair to Musicians
It is distressing that the San Diego Symphony has not yet been able to solve its financial difficulties. Wasn’t it only last year that we were all contributing to a call for help? Why is there another crisis?
Cutting salaries of the musicians is a heartless way to overcome the problem and most unfair. We would urge the board to work toward a musicians contract that is fair, and with haste, as these people are unpaid during the crisis.
