Mormon Church leaders warned the 6 million members about the evils of drug abuse and said any judge who treats drug dealers lightly “isn’t worthy of his office.” The church’s semi-annual General Conference was opened in Salt Lake City to a theme laced with warnings against drugs, alcohol and illicit sex. An elder told members it is their duty to follow the golden rule in business dealings and in their personal lives.
