Louisiana Gov. Edwin W. Edwards testified before an East Baton Rouge grand jury investigating a state pardons-for-sale scandal and the district attorney said he is considering whether to seek an indictment against him for obstruction of justice. “I am not involved,” Edwards said after spending an hour and 20 minutes in his voluntary appearance. But Dist. Atty. Bryan Bush, while giving no details, said: “Something came up during (Edwards’) testimony--new information that relates to the pardon probe.”
