Jim McGregor, ticket manager for the 1988 Winter Olympics organizing committee, was arrested in Calgary and charged with theft and fraud. McGregor, 37, faces two counts of fraud, two counts of theft and one count of mischief.
The charges were made in connection with ticket mail-order forms distributed in the United States by World Tickets Inc., a company 99% owned by McGregor. McGregor went on a leave of absence for health reasons just before the case was first publicized.
