The National Hockey League fined the Montreal Canadiens and the Vancouver Canucks another $5,000 each for a bench-clearing brawl during a game at Vancouver on Nov. 2.
Brian O’Neill, executive vice-president of the league, said in a statement that the team fines are in addition to the $4,300 in automatic fines that were previously imposed.
