Newport Center Vote
I have seen countless ads extolling the merits of Measure A. What I have not heard is any mention of how much air pollution the traffic generated by Measure A will produce. It is clearly stated in the city’s environmental impact report that the “vehicular emissions” will amount to over half a ton of nitrous oxide and seven tons of carbon monoxide per day. Considering that Newport Beach has had the highest acid-fog reading of any place in the world, I wonder whether our lungs can bear Measure A!
