Canadian Women Defeat Long Beach, 74-72
Misty Thomas, a former Nevada Las Vegas guard, scored 19 points to lead the Canadian national women’s basketball team past Cal State Long Beach, 74-72, Tuesday night at Long Beach.
Forward Cindy Brown scored 21 points and had 10 rebounds to lead Long Beach, which rallied from a 41-30 halftime deficit.
