INDIANAPOLIS — A man convicted of killing a McDonald’s manager was sentenced to 281 years in prison Wednesday by a judge who said he is tired of dealing with criminals who rob and kill vulnerable fast-food restaurant employees.
Lawrence C. Gregory, 35, was sentenced by Marion County Superior Court Judge Roy F. Jones for the Nov. 17, 1985, shooting of Dewayne F. Bible during a robbery.
“This court is tired of people coming before the bench who have robbed and killed people employed in the fast-food business,” Jones said.
