Local News in Brief : Sun Valley Driver Dies in Blowout on Freeway
A Sun Valley woman died Tuesday morning when a tire on her car blew out and she veered into the center divider of the Hollywood Freeway in North Hollywood, the California Highway Patrol said.
Susana Jarrin, 43, was pronounced dead shortly after the 6 a.m. accident in the southbound lanes of the freeway south of Oxnard Street, Officer Kent Buzbee said.
