Slaying Victim Found in Sun Valley Carport
An unidentified man was found shot to death Saturday morning in the rear carport of a Sun Valley apartment building, Los Angeles police said.
The victim, thought to be in his early 20s, was discovered by two people who notified a resident of the apartment building in the 7200 block of Vineland Avenue, Detective Howard Landgren said. The resident called police, Landgren said.
Landgren said officers arrived at 9:44 a.m. and found the body in the carport with several gunshots in the upper body. The victim was apparently killed at the scene, Landgren said.
Homicide detectives said they have no witness and know no motive for the slaying.
