Huntington Beach : Masked Gunmen Rob Pizza Parlor, Escape
Two masked men armed with semi-automatic pistols held up three employees at a pizza parlor and escaped on foot with $100, police said Thursday.
Police Lt. Patrick Gildea said two men wearing ski masks walked into Domino’s Pizza in the 17400 block of Beach Boulevard about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday and ordered employees Gail Fischer, 26, Richard Manaleg, 19, and Todd Gould, 20, to leave the counter area.
Gildea said one employee was ordered to stay in a restroom while the other two were forced to lie on the floor, as the robbers took money out of the cash register. One employee was also physically assaulted, Gildea said.
He said the robbers fled from the pizza parlor with about $100 in cash. The men were described only as being in their early 20s.
