Hype and Hoopla of the Super Bowl
I am a high school student and I don’t understand how 130 million people can sit and watch the Super Bowl for a whole day. While millions of people are mesmerized by the tube, thousands of others are cold and starving. I can not imagine that only days ago two homeless people froze to death on the street in Los Angeles, while we, the lucky ones, spent a winter’s afternoon in warm comfort watching a game.
Wouldn’t it be nice if those big companies that spend millions of dollars on the 30-second advertisements on TV during the game donate some to the homeless.
