Royal West Airlines has ceased operations.
The Las Vegas-based carrier did not have incoming or outgoing flights all day, said a spokeswoman for Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport. The airline made no announcement of its closure and calls to its offices went unanswered. Royal West, which began operations last June, recently advertised it would begin the only non-stop service between New York City and Las Vegas. Its only operating flights, however, were 13 round trips daily between Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
