Westminster : Police Seeking 2 Men in Assault on Woman
A Pomona woman was raped and severely beaten early Friday by two men who left her partly dressed and screaming in the middle of 10th Street, according to police.
Police Officer Larry Woessner said the 23-year-old woman had agreed to get into a car with two men at Beach and Garden Grove boulevards in Stanton. They drove her to a vacant, unfurnished house on the 7900 block of 10th Street and began beating her with their fists, Woessner said.
After the men left, neighbors heard her screams and called police.
She was treated for facial bruises and an injured eye at Humana Hospital Westminster and released. Police were still seeking the two men who may have been driving a light-colored Oldsmobile Cutlass, according to Woessner.
