Kings Meet North Stars in Minnesota
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — The Kings will play the first game of a short trip today, meeting the Minnesota North Stars at 11:30 a.m. before flying to Chicago for a Sunday night game.
The Kings finished their six-game home stand 3-2-1. At 25-29-7, they are 11 points ahead of Vancouver and figure to be in the playoffs.
The North Stars (26-28-7) are clinging to second place in the tight Norris Division. They are led by Dino Ciccarelli, who is second in the league in goal scoring.
