CBS expressed fresh interest in acquisitions.
The New York-based entertainment company said proceeds from its $400-million Eurodollar market offering might be applied toward working capital, but also suggested that proceeds from 15-year convertible subordinated debentures could be used to make acquisitions. The company said it “remains interested in potential acquisitions, particularly in the field of television stations.”
