Top-Seeded Alvarado Defeats Monreal in Handball Final
Top-seeded Naty Alvarado defeated Poncho Monreal, 15-21, 21-6, 11-1, Sunday in the final of the United Handball Assn. pro tour stop at the Los Caballeros Racquet and Sports Club in Fountain Valley.
Alvarado, who has won 52 of 63 pro tour stops, won $3,500 and Monreal $2,000.
