A Petaluma, Calif., firm plans to release Soviet classical, folk, pop, and jazz titles in compact disc format in North America. Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab President Herbert Belkin estimated his firm will release 30 to 40 titles a year under an agreement reached with Melodiya, the Soviet Union recording company.
