Harry L. Hathaway has been elected to the board of directors of Alpha Micro, a Santa Ana-based computer firm. Hathaway, 49, is a partner in Hill, Farrer & Burrill, a Los Angeles law firm that specializes in business and commercial law. He replaces Robert W. Van Tuyle of Beverly Enterprises, who resigned from the Alpha Micro board in May, 1986, after the company lost its insurance for directors and officers. The position remained vacant until Hathaway’s election last Friday.
