Fullerton : Police Seeking Woman Who Wandered Away
Police Monday continued to search for a missing 28-year-old Fullerton woman who wandered from home last week.
Abigal Cummins left her northwest Fullerton home Thursday afternoon and hasn’t been seen since, according to Sgt. Roger White. Cummins, who police described as somewhat mentally disturbed, was not carrying any identification when she left her home near Gilbert Street and Malvern Avenue.
She is 5 feet 9 inches, 135 pounds, with black hair and eyes and medium build, police said.
“She is not dangerous,” White said. “I am not a psychologist but to some degree she is mentally disturbed. She is a little bit on the noncommunicative side.”
White said that Cummins can tell people her name and where she lives--if she wants to.
“She could be perfectly well. Or she could be in an institution somewhere. Or some nice person may have taken her in,” White said. “I don’t know where she is. That almost says it all.”
