A blue swastika was painted on the front door of Hollywood’s Kehillath Yitzchok synagogue, at 7709 Beverly Blvd., and one of its windows broken by vandals in separate incidents over the weekend, officials of the synagogue said. Officials said two members of the congregation chased two youths after the window breaking incident, catching one of them. The youth, who was not identified, was handed over to Los Angeles police. During the night a blue swastika was painted on the front door of the building, the officials said.
